Engage! Cleveland Announces New Staff and Board of Director Members

CLEVELAND, Ohio – July 20, 2017 – Engage Cleveland, a nonprofit organization focused on attracting, engaging and retaining young, diverse talent to Greater Cleveland, has announced the addition of several new Board members and a new marketing, events & development manager.

New Board members include:

  •   Dr. Robert Eckardt, retired, formerly Executive Vice President, Cleveland Foundation

  •   Steve Gleydura, Editor, Cleveland Magazine

  •   Amy Martin, Senior Partner, Marketing, JumpStart Inc.

  •   Ted Tywang, Director, Legal Affairs, Cleveland Browns

    “Engage Cleveland is excited to add these four outstanding professionals to our Board ofDirectors,” said Engage Cleveland President Ashley Basile Oeken. “Their professional expertise,passion for the community and dedication to advancing young professionals is an invaluableasset to our organization. We’re proud to welcome them to the EC team.”

    Engage Cleveland would also like to recognize the Board members whose terms ended in June 2017:

  •   Kim Pesses, Carnegie Companies, Inc.

  •   Julie Hill, PNC Bank

  •   Adrienne Sabo, Prodigal Company

    Additionally, Engage Cleveland announced Katelyn Gainer as the organization’s full-time marketing, events & development manager. Prior to joining Engage Cleveland, Katelyn worked with various non-profit organizations such as the Cleveland Museum of Art, Akron Art Museum and the Artists Archives. Katelyn has also worked as a wedding and event planner for a local, eco-friendly event planning company. Katelyn graduated with Bachelor’s degree inCommunication Studies from Kent State University.
