About Michelle Tomallo
Michelle Tomallo is President and Co-Founder of FIT Technologies which provides a full range of managed IT services—from helpdesk and field support to network design and CIO consultation. FIT’s team of 70 employees acts as the technology department for small- and mid-sized companies, non-profits, and K-12 schools across the state of Ohio and in other areas nationwide. Founded in 1999, FIT is certified as a female-owned and a LGBT-owned enterprise.
Michelle has 25 years of senior-level management experience and currently focuses on business development, marketing and change management. Prior to co-founding the company, Tomallo worked as a strategic development consultant for non-profits and was a marketing director in hospice, long-term care, and home care. Tomallo also has 10 years of experience in adult education/training and corporate event planning.
Outside of her responsibilities at her company, Michelle has been involved in Plexus, the LGBT and Allied Chamber of Commerce for a decade, now serving as the Board President. Michelle is on the Board of Engage Cleveland, is a Leadership Cleveland alum, was named to Crain’s Women of Note in 2017, and serves on committees at Greater Cleveland Partnership and women’s business groups. Michelle speaks both regionally and nationally on leadership, business certification, and supplier diversity.
She loves participating in the on-going transformation of the city by participating in arts, advocacy and culture events. Michelle is a community garden leader in Detroit Shoreway, and is involved in the Playhouse Square and Warehouse district neighborhoods where she works and lives. She incorporates her commitment to fitness by participating in charitable running and bike races.
