About Margaret Ludwig, Managing Director, Senior Vice President Property & Casualty Practice Leader
Margaret Ludwig is Property & Casualty Practice Leader of the Cleveland office of USI Insurance Services. Her responsibilities include cultivating business development, promoting community relations, fostering exceptional customer experiences, and nurturing a team-based culture.
Margaret was promoted to managing director in March 2012. She joined USI Insurance as senior vice president of the commercial practice group in February, 2011. With almost 30 years of experience in the Cleveland market, she has consulted various industry segments including manufacturing, retail, transportation and financial services. She is experienced in evaluating and structuring risk transfer strategies such as integrated risk and captives. She is also skilled in consulting on alternative program structures for large property and multinational programs.
Margaret served in the Ohio Air National Guard, 179th Airlift Group from 1984 to 1999. She was a Logistics Management Specialist and reached the rank of Technical Sergeant. During her fifteen (15) years of service, she worked in War Readiness Mobilization, Uniform Retail Issue, and Vehicle Maintenance.
Margaret is a board member for Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland and The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF).
Margaret received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance from Ashland University. She lives in Strongsville with her husband and two sons.
