YPO Spotlight: Western Reserve Historical Society Young Professionals
If you are interested in experiencing history in a fun and informal way while being educated and entertained the Western Reserve Historical Society (WRHS) Young Professionals may be perfect for you!
WRHS has excellent attendance from school age children and adults over 55 yrs, but they desired to increase the involvement of individuals from ages 25 – 45 in both the History Center and at Hale Farm & Village. They noticed the energy and creativity of the “Young Professional” market and started an effort to reach out to interested volunteers. Their goal is to educate and entertain members of the Millennial generation.
WRHS' mission is to support the Western Reserve Historical Society and to connect the past to the present within the Northeastern Ohio community through educational events in a social setting. Their events, with the average attendance of 50 to 100 people, include activities such as Pub Crawls in the Cleveland Warehouse District and Murder Mysteries in the Hay McKinney Historic House in University Circle.
