YPO Spotlight: Cleveland Foodbank's YP Pantry
The Cleveland Foodbank originated in 1979 with the purpose of solving the critical issue of hunger in Cleveland. A group of like-minded individuals joined together to create a single clearinghouse that solicited, collected, sorted, and distributed food in a more efficient manner, ensuring improved operations for local charities in the Greater Cleveland area.
The Foodbank’s YP Pantry is a dynamic group of socially conscious young professionals, aged 21 through 40, who are motivated to take action and bring awareness to the Cleveland Foodbank and the issue of hunger in Northeast, Ohio through fundraising, advocacy, social, and volunteer efforts geared toward their peers.
The YP Pantry is currently recruiting members to support the Foodbank's many valuable programs and services.
