2016 Committee Members

You may or may not know this, but for the past 3.5 years from staff perspective, Engage! Cleveland has been run by one full-time staff person (me!) and a rotating intern. We have had a Board of Directors and additionally some amazing committee members. Our Board of Directors has been recognized in a variety of ways including through press releases and on our website. They are a terrific group; however, sometimes I feel that we don’t give enough recognition to our awesome committee members. These individuals are our eyes and ears to all things young professional and help us in too many ways to name. In an effort to introduce you to all of them, I am sharing this introductory blog and soon you will begin seeing blogs about each of them. Over 30 amazing YPs make up our awesome committees.

First up, we have our marketing committee members. This group is amazing, from website designers to graphic designers and everything in between, and we are truly blessed that they share their amazing skill sets with us.

Adrienne Sabo – Adrienne not only serves on our Board, but serves as the Chair of our marketing committee. She has perfect attendance at the meetings.

Deena Koldurovich – Deena is the project manager for the marketing committee. She keeps everyone on their toes by sending meeting notes and serving as our primary social media expert.

Our awesome website got a huge update in May 2015 and we are getting ready for another one. This is thanks to a few key individuals.

Ryan Marimon – A newlywed and amazing volunteer, we first met Ryan when he was our project manager at Give Camp, where he spent 2.5 days living out of a tent on Lake Erie to build our new website. He fell in love with our mission and decided to stay involved. We call this “getting engaged to Cleveland.”

Andria Trivisonno – Andria is a jack-of-all-trades who is an entrepreneur and lover of all things Cleveland. She has helped with our website and is now working on our new software.

Do you ever see two guys, always smiling, with their faces behind a lens?

Greg Murray – is our amazing photographer. Even though dogs are his biggest passion, he shoots all of our awesome events. Every time Greg sends us his photos we are more and more blown away.

Ben Harper – Ben is Greg’s other half and does the videography for EC. His claim to fame is the awesome CLE YP Week videos he produces. A Cleveland boomerang, Ben spent 10 years in Washington D.C before coming back to Cleveland.

Have you seen our event flyers? We have some truly creative individuals.

Brittney Fells – is a full-time graphic designer working for a company as well as doing freelance work. Her creativity can be seen in all of our CLE YP Week collateral this year.

Laura Winger – by day, Laura works alongside Brittney and by night, she too, volunteers for EC. Laura has assisted us with many of our event flyers including our Holiday MIX, the Hofbräuhaus tour and the Cavs Game. We think she has quite an eye for detail.

Read about Engage! Cleveland in the news or on our blog?

Angela Almasy – is a lover of all things Cleveland and our expert in PR. She writes all of our press releases and helps us create media partnerships.

Krista Cantwell – writes for us, edits and works on media contracts. She is a part of CBS Radio by day and is an avid Cleveland sports fan by night. Krista gets a gold star for attending almost every EC event we have.

Brian Rosen – is a YP who knows and loves the food scene. Brian writes all sorts of tidbits for our blogs, but food is his passion. Can you blame him?

Leah Deppert – after making a career change, Leah switched from our programs committee to the marketing committee where she is honing in on some new skills.

Emily Monteleone – creates all of our surveys, analyzes our data and ensures that we are always striving for the best.

Stormie VanMeenen – wearing a lot of hats, Stormie helps out as needed on a variety of marketing functions.

Our events and programs are Engage! Cleveland’s claim to fame and we have a great group that assists on this side of the coin too.

Amanda Mockbee – after serving as a committee member, Amanda volunteered to co-chair our programs committee this year.

Rosalyn Cooper – Is EC’s biggest promoter, sharing all of our events via her social media channels. She is also a co-chair of our programs committee.

Andres Solano – a native of Pennsylvania, Andres moved to Cleveland and has loved everything that Cleveland has to offer.

Nitra Rucker – joined us this year from KeyBank, who is our presenting sponsor of CLE YP Week. She asks terrific questions and has great insight.

Peter Michael Poznako – another representative from KeyBank who has long been involved in EC events. Peter is planning our networking event for YP Week.

Krystin Zollos – is working on Y(our) Platform and is seeking out talented young professionals to share their 5 minute pitches. Sign up today!

Brittany Belko – is our operations guru, she assists with all things EC and introduced us to one of our favorite scheduling tools, Sign Up Genius.

Sasha Wallace – a nurse, Sasha works crazy hours, but always makes time for EC and helps out as needed.

Brittany Costa – a former EC part-time staff person turned committee member, Brittany is very passionate about our work.

Marisa Grill – a newbie on our team this year, Marisa is lending her marketing/communications talent to Y(our) Platform.

Candace Gesicki – a chiropractor by background, Candace has been involved for two years and is leading our women in leadership panel.

Laura Potter-Sadowski – new to EC, Laura is learning a lot about Cleveland’s CEOs as she plans our Lunch with Leaders event.

Megan Shadrach – now in her second year with EC, Megan is a ball of energy who is planning our inaugural scavenger hunt.

Natalie Winer – is in her second year with EC, switching from donations to programs this year. She is a sweet treat to have around because she often showers us with baked goods from her family’s bakery.

EC tries to acclimate young professionals to all that Cleveland has to offer and plans a bunch of silent auctions and raffles to raise money to support our efforts. Our donations committee helps us out.

Jason Scalese – this guy has tons of connections and is super helpful in connecting EC to the right people. He co-chairs our sponsorships team.

Lexie Lazzera – our project manager, who keeps us on schedule with making our asks.

Simone Swanson – a long-time volunteer of EC, she is co-chairing the donations committee this year.

Lauren Gatto – served the past two years with EC and is trying out the donations committee this year.

Liz Steward – a new face to EC this year who is already making a difference. Look for Liz to also be snapping pictures at upcoming EC events.

All of these committee members are selfless and giving of their time to Engage! Cleveland, and we couldn’t appreciate it more. Be on the lookout to get to know a bit more about each of them in the coming weeks!
