Engage! Cleveland and Leadership Council Members Recognized for Local Awards
Earlier this month, Engage! Cleveland (EC) and a few of its Leadership Council members were recognized for local awards – The Connectors Choice Award and the 20/30 Club Movers and Shakers Award – further confirming EC and its members’ dedication to making Cleveland a better place to live, work and play for young professionals.
The Connectors Choice Award
EC is proud to be recognized as the Connectors Choice Awards’ Young Professionals Business Networking Organization of the Year for the second consecutive year.
“2016 was a special year for Engage! Cleveland as we hired a new staff person, created new programs, and launched a membership model to help employers with their talent attraction and retention needs,” EC President Ashley Basile Oeken said. “We’re honored to receive this award for a second consecutive year, and we look forward to what EC can accomplish in 2017.”
The Connectors Choice Awards, hosted by the Cleveland Business Connects magazine and parent company Contempo Communications, recognizes the region’s corporate events industry and business networking community. This was the 10th anniversary of the event.
20/30 Club Movers and Shakers Award
In addition to the organizational Connectors Choice Award, three of Engage! Cleveland's Leadership Council members recently received the 20/30 Club Movers and Shakers Award. The award, presented by Cleveland’s 20/30 Club, recognizes 25 young leaders under 35 years of age that have a record of excellence in their work, civic engagement and philanthropic efforts. The three EC members recognized are:
- Sarah Gray, Vice President, Business Analytics Manager, PNC Bank
- Yentil Rawlinson, Program Manager, Diversity & Inclusion, Cleveland Clinic
- Natalie Winer, Creative Consultant/Bakery Owner
“On behalf of Engage! Cleveland I’d like to congratulate Sarah, Yentil and Natalie for receiving the 20/30 Club’s Movers and Shakers Award,” said Oeken. “These three women are doing incredible work for the Cleveland community and truly deserve this recognition. We’re proud to have them as part of the EC team.”
