E!C’s Rising Star: Nathan Wills
By Samantha Wright Having received a taste of studying and living in France and working in Florida, Nathan returned to Cleveland in 2001 to attend Law School, and now lives in South Euclid with his wife, Kelly, and his three year old daughter Ainsley. Nathan has lived in greater Cleveland for most of his life, growing up in the Bay Area and attending Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Nathan is now putting his Law degree to good use as an attorney at The Wills Law Firm, LLC.
A passionate Clevelander, Nathan previously served as President of Cleveland ConneXion, and helped lead the effort to create Engage!Cleveland. Nathan sees Cleveland as a great place for young professionals, “I’ve heard Cleveland described as both a “small big-city” and a “really big small-town.” I interpret that to mean that Greater-Cleveland has the resources of a large metropolitan area, but retains the intimacy of a much smaller town. This duality allows young professionals to get involved with organizations they are passionate about, and to make an impact on the greater-Cleveland community early in their careers.”
Nathan can be found enjoying the culinary delights of Cleveland at his favorite restaurants, Marotta’s, B-Spot, Fahrenheit (a nod to his west side roots) and Flemings. He also loves taking his daughter to the new Atrium at the Cleveland Museum of Art, where she loves to look at the paintings, sculptures, and artifacts, but she is also free to run around in the large, beautiful space. A love of water passed down from Nathans grandfather and father means he is also likely to be found enjoying days sailing on Lake Erie.
