E!C's Rising Star: Jose Feliciano Jr.
By Samantha Wright Jose feels fortunate to be a young professional in Cleveland right now as he is part of a movement that is making the city great again. As past President of the Young Latino Network, member of National Society of Hispanic MBA's, member of Column & Stripe and Engage! Cleveland's social media guru, Jose is a passionate contributor to the Cleveland Young Professional community.
After attending college at Muskingum University, Jose spent time living in Washington D.C. and Madison, WI before returning to Cleveland. Jose lives by a quote from Roberto Clemente, "Any time you have an opportunity to make a difference in this world and you don't, then you are wasting your time on Earth." Clemente is the embodiment of servant leadership and a huge sense of pride for Jose, as a Puerto Rican.
Though he has many great memories from Cleveland, one of Jose’s best memories in 2013 was a day which included enjoying a range of great activities that Cleveland has to offer. The day began with breakfast with his wife and some friends at BonBon in Ohio City, after which they headed over to the Cleveland International Film Festival, and then visited the Cleveland Flea. The fun continued at the Lottery League Showcase at the Agora, capped off with a nice dinner with Jose’s family at Gamekeeper's. Jose can also be found enjoying some of his favorite indoor spaces in Cleveland which include: the Atrium at the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Union Club, the Tavern at the Beachland Ballroom, Bac, and Lizardville. In the summer months he can be found on any of Cleveland’s many patios, enjoying the weather and having a drink with his wife.
