E!C’s Rising Star: Hannah Belsito

By Adrienne Sabo Hannah Belsito HeadshotIf there is one thing that Hannah Belsito appreciates most about Cleveland, it is that it is the perfect combination of city life and a close-knit community.

“Cleveland gives me the best of both worlds. If you find a project or business that is of interest to you, you can get a meeting with the project lead or business owner. People want to help in Cleveland,” she said.

Hannah, the Director of Destination Development and Community Affairs for Positively Cleveland, moved to Cleveland 15 years ago from Salem, Ohio to study at John Carroll University. It was then that she not only fell in love with the city but all that it has to offer. From enjoying Cleveland’s lakefront to sampling the city’s great culinary scene, Hannah appreciates everything that goes into making this city great.  This even includes the view from Terminal Tower. “Anytime I have a view of the Terminal Tower, it makes me smile.”

And her passion for all things Cleveland means she also has a passion for the city’s young professionals. Hannah is a past member of the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club, former Director of Cleveland Bridge Builders, former interim Board Member of Engage! Cleveland, and co-founder of Cleveland ConneXion. She currently serves on the City of Lakewood’s Planning Commission and ideastream’s Community Advisory Board.

“Cleveland’s young professional organizations connected me to a valued network of friends and colleagues and encouraged me to maintain my commitment to civic engagement. I look forward to continuing to support and advocate for Cleveland’s vibrant and diverse young professional organizations.”

Hannah currently resides in Lakewood with her husband and beautiful baby boy.
