Behind the Scenes of Jakprints

Behind the Scenes of Jakprints Ever wonder where some of your favorite local bands get their pins, stickers, and t-shirts? It’s likely they came from Jakprints.

About a decade ago, founders Dameon Guess and Jacob Edwards were in need of promotional materials for their bands. However, they very quickly realized a printer able to make the high-quality items they needed didn’t exist. So, like most great inventions, they created Jakprints out of necessity. They utilized their backgrounds in screen printing and graphic design, along with their knowledge of what other artists and musicians wanted, to create a successful business.

Today Jakprints continues to take its quality, environmentally friendly and efficient business practices into other industries all over the world—whether it be restaurants, churches, or up and coming entrepreneurs. Since its creation in 1999, Jakprints has served over 100,000 customers and continues to maintain the belief that high-quality, custom printing should be accessible to everyone.

So, how did the company develop and become so successful? And, how are so many different types of marketing materials produced in such large quantities at such rapid rates? Join Engage! Cleveland for another behind the scenes event on August 24th at 5:30 where you’ll have the chance to experience an in-depth tour of Jakprints’ 150,000 square-foot production space and find out the answers to these questions. During this event we’ll be joined by Nick DeTomaso, the Co-Owner and CEO of Jakprints. The evening will conclude with appetizers and refreshments and the chance to network with other young professionals. You’ll also be sent home with a gift bag of samples and a Jakprints coffee mug.
